The research group focuses on functional analysis and operator theory with applications to the study of (partial) differential equations, both deterministic and non-deterministic, arising from models in e.g. quantum physics and mathematical biology. Of special importance is the area of stochastic analysis.
Spectral theory and variational methods. Operator theory. Functional calculus and non-commutative analysis. Harmonic analysis. Probability theory and stochastic differential equations. Representation theory. Quantum groups and special functions.
