Research in Engineering geology aims at reducing uncertainty in the ground by the application of geological expertise in the context of ground regime and its response in order to lower risk in construction and enhance the sustainable development of low-lying countries and adjacent areas.
Research topics: Anisotropic geomechanical parameters as a result of glacial shearing; Methodology towards a Shared earth model; the making of present-day deltas, how they evolved and respond to changes in sediment.
