Research areas in marketing: strategy, consumer behavior, and modeling.
Key areas of research are traditionally associated with different supporting disciplines. Strategy is closely linked to research in organization and game theory. Consumer behavior (although it is currently coined “customer behavior” to include organizational consumption behavior as well) draws heavily from work in psychology and sociology. Modeling is strongly connected to econometrics and psychometrics.
