In the development of new technologies for sustainable production of power, fuels, chemicals and composite materials, advanced materials play an important role. Research group focuses on materials for Photovoltaic (PV) cells, materials for heat exchangers, less energy requisite and more durable concrete, materials for fuel cells, materials for nuclear fusion plants, catalysts for biomass and “clean fossil” conversions, chemical looping materials, membranes for separation and electrodes for electrolysers. The research involves both the development and testing of these materials.
