Physical aspects in the built environment

The research area concerns the physical aspects in the built environment: heat, air, moisture, sound and light.
A unique characteristic of research is the focus on analysing these physical aspects in all three domains of the built environment: the outdoor environment, the building envelope (roof, facades, floor) and the indoor environment, and across the interface of these domains. Research efforts focus on the interaction of these physical parameters with the building components and the building users, and on their control by building systems.
