Research group studies a variety of phenomena in which the common theme is the impact of stochasticity, or randomness, on the performance of systems under study. Models are developed that describe the performance obtained under relevant assumptions, also leading to possible optimization scenarios.
The main focus in research is on stochastic processes and their applications in telecommunications, logistics and health care.
