New technology for baggage handling. Robots load baggage into carts and containers. Until now, baggage had always been loaded into a loading unit manually and then driven to the aircraft. The assignment was to come up with a system that would make it possible to process the increasing number of items of baggage, using the same number of people. The overall concept is extensively automated, and part of that system is now a robot leader that loads the baggage into the loading units.
