The design of vehicles requires sufficient knowledge of their dynamic behaviour. Safety, motion control, vibrational comfort and reliability can be improved by the application of modern analysis methods and new technical solutions. The industry shows an ever growing demand for accurate mathematical models of both tires and vehicles. Micro-electronics provide a new impulse in the further development of the research. Due to the change in the automotive industry towards a more and more controlled dynamics behaviour.
The aim of our research is the improvement of the dynamic behaviour of vehicles moving on roads and tracks. Or to be more specific: the control of the motion and the reduction of the effect of disturbances.
