Increased international trade in health services can have an important role in the rapid spread of health care associated infections. The occurrence of health care associated infections like MRSA is detrimental both to patients’ and health care workers’ safety and, consequently, to quality of care. The project aims to reduce cross-border MRSA spread. This web-based tool should facilitate health care workers with acceptable, applicable, user-friendly information and evidence-based guidelines that enhance the decision making process and enable them to deliver safe health care.
