Mobile and wireless systems are characterized by the fact that one or more links in the system are wireless (usually at least the link connecting one of the end systems) and/or that some nodes (usually the end systems) are moving with respect to the other nodes in the network.
The research focuses on data link, network and transport layer aspects of such systems, and occasionally covers also physical (radio) and application layer aspects. Design and analysis. Architectures, protocols, and algorithms.
