Our group carries out research in the areas of scientific visualization, information visualization, software visualization, multiscale shape analysis, illustrative computer graphics, innovative interfaces using large displays, geometric modelling, vector graphics, visual perception and VR/AR. We apply our research to fundamental and practical problems from the life sciences (functional brain imaging, bioinformatics), astronomy, the medical domain, as well as the CAD industry.
