The research on the network layer focuses on the provisioning of IP based quality of service in the context of the Internet Engineering Task Force.
This deals with the investigation and development of several algorithms used for supporting the Resource management in diffserv. Development of analytical performance models for elastic traffic flows, e.g., TCP, sharing multiple network links. The modelling results are validated through extensive measurements in several operational network environments.
